How we spent Earth Hour 2008:

Last year I got word of Earth Hour a few days before it occurred. Shone and I had a great time: I lit candles and gave my baby love a massage with a happy ending! My past days as a licensed massage therapist really come in handy at times! It was a magical way to spend time together! The silence in the air, and just the light of the candles and the touch of my hands on his body was all that we needed to create a magical earth hour.

This year we want to encourage as many of you online and in our local community to celebrate Earth Hour. Earth Hour is hoping to reach 1 billion votes for Earth to tell World Leaders that we have to take action against global warming.

Celebrating Earth Hour bohostyle:

we love to celebrate Earth Hour

we love to celebrate Earth Hour

1. A massage and a happy ending is always a great way to spend time with a lover. Light some beeswax candles or something that does not burn toxic chemicals into your lungs in a closed up room, and enjoy.

2. Prepare a candlelight dinner for two or more: use foods like fruits and veggies that don’t need to be cooked or use any appliances or energy to create. sit around and intentionally listen and care about what others are sharing while enjoying some fresh and sexy healthy treats.

and if you happen to be near the reno area or care to follow along online for some tips and suggestions: check in on our raw food and yoga challenge month for march 2009.

3. get naked and have your lover take artistic/erotic nude pictures of you with a camera/flash that uses recyclable batteries. play with the light from candles and if you have a more professional camera, take your time and have fun with all of the settings. Find out how your camera works for you and not just a text book. Use the shoot as fore-play and withhold from any sexual penetrations for the entire hour! Once the hour has expired, then you can ravage each other.

being naked is exhilarating!

4. get naked and have your lover draw artistic/erotic nude pictures of you by candlelight. You are sure to get some amazing features and sensual curves!

5. lie on your back, sit in the corner, whatever works for you: in meditation, focus on your breath coming in and out of the body. notice as you breathe in through your nose, and out through your mouth, in through your nose and out through your nose, in through your mouth and out through your nose, in through your mouth and out through your mouth, breath heavy, breathe light, spend a focused time breathing and replenishing your cells with the oxygen that many of us tend to deplete of. be aware, don’t push too hard or breathe too fast, no need to create light headedness, be mindful and master your breathe.

6. Check back here in the comments, as other suggestions arise, we’ll share them all here! for instance I just twittered to the @yogiclounge here in reno to hold a candlelight yoga class for earth hour.

7. Bohocrush is performing at the Studio on 4th with Ashlee B Stone and Brian Aranda March 28th 2009. (Even though bohocrush will still be involved in a photoshoot, and arrive after EARTH HOUR, we’ll still be celebrating in the studio!) I’ve just been in text communications with Ashlee and suggested they open up their event by candlelight! I’ll be posting the flyer and more information on our events page soon! Celebrate with a community! :) In the meantime check out Ashlee’s Myspace page

8. Share some of your ideas on how to spend earth hour. There are countless ways, and we would love to hear some of your ideas! We’ve still got quite a bit of time, and we want to share as many ideas as we can, so that we all find what is just right for our Earth Hour!
